  2. My wife brushes her teeth in the shower every night. I had no idea that it wasn't totally clean. She'll probably be alarmed to hear this, but appreciative. I also like the swill water idea. I'm in a rush sometimes to get to work and can't brush. I'll at least swill on those days from now on. http://www.leslieanthonydmd.com/servicesguarantees

  4. I try to brush my teeth twice every day and floss before bed, but my teeth still feel like it has some plaque residue throughout the day. It seems like your tip to swish water around my mouth after eating or drinking would help with that. I enjoy eating chewy snacks, so the sticky residue must be what's forming plaque on my teeth. Swishing water would probably help with that, so I'll make it a habit to have cleaner teeth.

  5. It is interesting that brushing teeth in the shower is not healthy! I will have to make sure to stop doing that, because I really do need to pay more attention to my dental care. Also, like you say, if you avoid the dentist now, it can only mean bad things down the road. http://www.getaperfectsmile.com

  19. Dental issues run in my family. Even though I brush twice a day and try to floss daily, I still end up with cavities. You mentioned that smoking can cause periodontitis, and that's one reason why I quit a few years ago. Maybe I should visit a dentist more often. You say that I should go every six months, so I will start doing that from now on. Hopefully, they will be able to give me more helpful tips like these. http://smilesofwestmont.net/
